Can off cuts and recovered pipes be recycled?
Yes - The relevant EN product standards explain how and where recycled pipe can be re-used in production of new pipes.
Details
Product standards specify the re-use of thermoplastics for plastics piping systems for sewerage and infrastructure.
EN 13476, EN 1401, EN 1852, EN 12666, EN 13244, EN 1456, EN 14758 specify the use of recycled thermoplastics.
On national level recommendations may be provided by the national associations for the collecting of used plastics pipes.
