Colour plays a vital role in the sewer pipe market as a means of easy identification. For example, in the US sewer pipes are green. In Europe waste water and rainwater pipes are terracotta, light grey or black, green. Potable water pipes are blue, dark grey or with blue striping and gas pipes are yellow/yellow striping.


  • Whatever the application, the colour has no negative influence on the technical and chemical properties of the plastic pipes and fittings.
