The General Assembly, comprising members of TEPPFA, meets at least
once a year to define policy.
The Executive Committee is comprised of 12 elected members of the
General Assembly.

Application Group Buildings

Concentrates on plastics piping systems for pressure and non-pressure applications for use inside the buildings with a focus on:
- all relevant industry issues in the field of standardisation
and certification, environment and promotion;
- developments in the market regarding drinking water quality
and the development of the EAS by the European Commission;
- fire behaviour of plastics piping systems.

for use outside the buildings with a focus on:
- all relevant industry issues in the field of standardisation
and certification, environment and promotion;
- the application areas underground drainage and sewerage, foul
and storm water, road and land drainage and infiltration;
- promotion of plastics piping systems based on field experience,
own investigations and proven performance.

Concentrates on plastics piping systems for pressure applications for use outside the buildings with a focus on:
- all relevant industry issues in the field of standardisation

- promotion of plastics pressure piping systems in the pressure
and gas applications, based on proven performance and experience.

Working Group Certification and Standardisation (CEST)

Concentrates on:
- support for the formulation of European Standards for plastic
pipes and fittings;
- promotion of third party quality certification and mutual international
recognition of test results between institutes;
- representation of the industry with the Commission and CEN resulting
in proper
direction for CEN/TC 155 'plastics piping systems'.

Working Group Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)

Concentrates on:
- exchange of know-how regarding health- safety- and environmental
aspects of plastic pipes and fittings;
- promotion of good working practices, such as post use material
collection for recycling.
